Spring officially begins next week and I couldn’t be more excited to freshen up my wardrobe. Spring is one of my favorite seasons because flowers start blooming, the sun is shining, and the weather is mild so you can still layer and transition your wardrobe comfortably {in California at least}. Lately I have been all about neutrals and simple outfits and I see that trend continuing throughout spring.

Happy 2016! It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged and so much in my life has changed. However, my love for fashion and beauty has not; so, I decided to push myself out of my comfort zone and record my fist YouTube video. It isn’t the best quality, but I am actually pleasantly surprised with myself for not hating it. It was really fun to record and I hope you like it.

My goal is to record one video a week for the next six months and then from there I can reassess. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or what you would like to see!

I recently went shopping to update my makeup for fall. I am still debating whether or not to get Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, but in the mean time I spent way too much at MAC and Sephora. I have no regrets because I am loving everything.

Hourglass | Mineral Veil Primer– This primer is my favorite. I had a 100 point sample from Sephora and I scraped it dry with a q-tip. My makeup lasts all day when I use this.

Too Faced Melted Lipstick | Melted Berry– I tried this on a couple weeks ago at Ulta and loved the color. It is a berry/red/pink that is perfect for fall. I had been thinking about it ever since then, so I decided to pick it up when I saw it at Sephora.

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish | Soft&Gentle– This is such a beautiful highlighter. It leave a shimmer like my cheeks were dusted by a fairy. I know it is a little pricey, but you do get enough to last you a lifetime.

MAC Powder Blush | Peachykeen- I wanted a new blush for fall and I was drawn to this warm, peach color. It is a nice break from summery pink, flushed colors. I have actually been wearing this with no bronzer to give me a healthy, bright, glowy cheek on minimal makeup days.

Nars Dual Intensity Eyeshadow | Phoebe– According to Sephora.com this is a deep shimmering amethyst. I have green eyes and this really makes them pop. I am really excited to try applying this with some Fix+ from MAC to really give myself a super shimmery eye look.

MAC | 116 Brush- When the woman at the MAC counter used this on me I knew I had to have it. It is a really versatile brush. She used it to contour my bronzer, apply my blush AND highlight my cheekbones. I have mostly been using it to apply the perfect wash of my new blush.

MAC Lip Pencil | Half-Red- Such a gorgeous brownish-red lip liner. It gives me a Kylie Jenner inspired lip. I was hesitant to rock this color but I really do love it. I know I will be reaching for this all fall and winter long.

MAC Matte Lipstick in Kinda Sexy- I actually bought this before I went to Italy this summer, but I felt like I should include it. It is a coral, nude shade. It can be worn alone or with any nude, coral, or pink lip gloss over top. It can be worn a ton of ways and even though I bought it as a summer color I will be using it year round.

MAC Matte Lipstick in Taupe- I got this color to go along with the lip liner. I like to wear them together for an extra long lasting lip combo, but I wear this on its own too. It can be a nice wash of color or you can build it for a sort of brown, dark nude lip on the go!
