Holiday Gift Guide: For Your Bestie

Holiday Gift Guide: For Your Bestie

Sassy Mug | ‘Partner in Crime’ Bracelet | Thank You Cards | Lokai Bracelet | Cupcake Shower Cap | Q&A Book

If you are anything like me, your best friends feel just like family. When the holidays come around, I want to give my closest friends gifts that are meaningful but won’t break the bank. I hope they love both the gifts and the messages behind them come Christmas time. The Q&A book is one of my favorite gifts to give for any occasion. It is pretty enough to leave on your bedside table and so fun to answer the questions every night to see how much you grow, change or stay the same over 5 years!

What’s Good Wednesday #3

Tomorrow is my favorite day of the year! While I dream of all the roasted garlic mashed potatoes I will be eating, I thought it was time for another edition of What’s Good Wednesday. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and eat all your favorite foods with all of your favorite people!

I suck at selfies, but I got my makeup done at my local Sephora and it was AMAZING! I have never been so sad to wash my makeup off before.

The funniest post from Kayla Itsines’ Instagram account. I definitely had some quinoa to offset my cinnamon roll french toast!

Must Have Monday: Origins Mini Mask Marvels

origins trio 1origins trio 2

I couple weeks back I shopped the Sephora VIB 20% off sale and picked up this Origins Mini Mask Trio along with a couple other goodies. It is no longer available through Sephora but you can get it here. I have heard amazing things about the Drink Up Intensive mask and thought winter is the perfect time to try it out. I was ready to buy the full size when I saw the last one of this adorable trio. I have tried the Clear Improvements mask before and it’s a good, cheaper alternative for Glam Glow. I have only used the Out of Trouble mask once. I liked it and will be adding it to my skincare routine once a week. I love the Drink Up Intensive mask! I use it two or three nights a week and it really hydrates my skin. You don’t need to use a lot of product and your skin will be soft and dewy when you wake up. Oh and it smells delicious…kind of like the Origins Perfect World scent that was one of Oprah’s favorites probably like 10 years ago! I am so happy with this trio and it has me interested in trying out more from Origins.

Holiday Gift Guide: For the Home

Holiday Gift Guide: For the Home

Marquee Letter | Candle | Journal | Coasters | Throw Blanket | Cookbook

Every Thanksgiving, my family and I feed the homeless; eat way too much food (garlic roasted mashed potatoes anyone?); and spend quality time together playing games and watching movies. It is my favorite holiday and it pains me to think of Christmas so far in advance. However, there is nothing cheerful about last minute gift giving, so I have complied a list of things I would like to both get and give this holiday season. The added bonus is that everything is under $40!

THE Courtney Kerr

Ladies and gentlemen, I met THE COURTNEY KERR. If you know me, you know that this was an epic day for me and will be a highlight of 2014.

I adore Courtney Kerr. She is my spirit animal. Most Eligible Dallas was such a guilty pleasure of mine and I have been following Courtney’s blog (What Courtney Wore) and social media since episode 1. When my best friend called me at 9am on a Saturday, I cancelled my plans for the day and started getting Courtney Kerr ready.

Courtney is just as amazing in real life as she is on TV. She was sweet, stunning and hilarious. Since meeting her, I have been seriously considering chopping my hair because her hair is perfection. Here’s what I wore…
